• Least distance of distinct vision = It is the distance at which image is formed and we can see it clearly and properly without any stress on our eye . There is a least distance upto which an object can see clearly and properly this is called least distance of distinct vision.
• For human eye it is 25 cm and denoted by D. Simple microscope , it is a convex lens of focal length less or more power and claimed in a circular flame.
