Myopia (Short-Sightedness) is that defect in human eye where person csn see near by objects clear but fails to see far objects clearly.

  • In normal vision, the far point for an eye is at infinity (∞).

  • For a myopic eye, far point is less than infinity and concentrated within some meters or even centimeters.

In order to correct this defect, person should use concave lens of such power that it forms a virtual image at far point of myopic eye.

Hola Mate...!!!

Nearsightedness, or myopia, as it is medically termed, is a vision condition in which people can see close objects clearly, but objects farther away appear blurred.

Nearsightedness can be corrected with eyeglasses , contact lenses or refractive surgery. ... If you're nearsighted, the first number ("sphere") on your eyeglasses prescription or contact lens prescription will be preceded by a minus sign (–). The higher the number, the more nearsighted you are.
