Firstly i would keep 4balls on left side and 4 balls in right side. By this we can find the heavier ball. Now take the side of the four balls which are heavier and keep 2 on left and 2 on right side.
We can find out the heavier ball.
Now the 2 ball which are heavier should be taken and now measure their weight you can find it out..
Hope it helped u

Jay1234567: yes you can use only 2 times not more than that and nor any another type of scale
SpideySnehansh: Then take the 2 balls and identify the heavier ball...

Make a group of 3,3 and 2 balls. Keep that set of 3 and 3 on the scale.
*Case 1*: If the weigh is same, You are left with 2 balls and in the next weighing you weigh them to get your answer.
*Case 2*: If they weigh differently, now you've to take the three balls from heavier side. Now split them as 1,1,1. Among them keep any two ball on the scale....
*Case(i)* if their weight is same so the another ball, which is not measured is heavier.
*Case(ii)* if their weight is different, so congrats, you've found the heavier ball.

I HOPE YOU UNDERSTOOD.
