HERE'S MY QUESTION:


A wire in the form of a circle of radius 42 cm is bent into a square. Find the side of the
square. Pi is equal to 22/7

Here's your answer

Firstly we will find the Circumference of circle beacuse Circumference of circle will be equal to perimeter of square.

Circumference of circle
= 2πr
= 2 x 22/7 X 42
= 264 cm

Circumference of circle = perimeter of square

4 X Side = Perimeter of square
4 X Side = 264 cm
Side = 264/4
Side = 66 cm

Circumference of circle = 2 x pi x r
= 2 x 22/7 x 42
= 264 cm

4 x s = 264
S = 264/4
S = 66 cm
