Here's my question ...
Q- The shiny Outer surface of a hollow sphere of aluminum of radius 50cm is to be used as mirror:
a) What will be the focal length of this mirror?
b) Which type of spherical mirror will it provide ?
c) State whether this spherical mirror diverge or converge light rays ??

The focal length of the mirror will be 50/2 = 25 cm
The outer surface of a hollow sphere of aluminium will act as a convex mirror.

 \huge \boxed{ \bf{answer}}

 \boxed{ \bf{given}}

Radius of the hollow sphere = 50 cm

 \boxed{ \bf{solution}}

a) We know,

 = > radius = 2(focal \: length)

 = > \: f = \frac{r}{2}

 = > \: f = \frac{50}{2}

 = > f = 25

Therefore, focal length = 25 cm

b) As, the focal length i.e 25 cm is positive . So the mirror used is
 \bf{convex \: mirror}.

c) As, the mirror is convex , so it
 \bf{diverge \: light \: rays}.

 \boxed{ \bf{uses \: of \: convex \: mirror \div }}

I>> Convex mirror is uses as rear view mirror in cars because it diverge the lights and give more field of view

2>> It is used in shops , parking areas etc. as a security camera
