Heres the question sadly i can not attach the diagram:
The diagram shows a diagram through a human thorax (chest) including organs asscoiated with breathing, gas exchange and circulation.
Q1- State which organ has the largest surface area [ 1 mark]
Q2- With reference to structures inside the organ, explain the importance of this surface area [4 marks]
Q3- Outline the role of the ribs, intercostal muscles and diaphragm in breathing in (inspiration). [6 marks]

q3 intercoastal muscles pulls ribs outwardly, diaphragm becomes flat, ribs go outward increading the surface area
