Subhash can plough 1/4th of the same field in 6 days. if they work together, in how many days will the work be completed? also find who is more efficient.

A can complete 1/3rd of a work in 5 days. So A completes the work in 5×1÷1/3=15days. In one day A completes 1/15th part of work. B can complete 2/5 th part of a work in 10 days. So B completes the work in 10×1÷2/5=50/2=25 days. In 1 day B completes 1/25th part. Both A & B complete jointly 1/15+1/25=8/75 th part of work. Now, to complete the work they jointly will take 75/8 days=9 days 9 hours.
