What is the average retarding force on the vehicle? The mass of the three- wheeler is

The initial velocity = 10m/s
The final velocity = 0
The time taken = 4s
by the formula
v = u+at
0 = 10 + 4a
therefore retardation 'a' = 2.5m/s^2
Total mass of the three wheeler = 400+80 = 480kg
By the formula
F = ma
Retardation force = 480 × 2.5
= 1200N
