Ans

u for the ball will be equal to 4.9m/s as u is equal to velocity of air craft at the instant of dropping the ball.

g= 9.8m/s^2

t= 2 secs

now, according to v= u+ at

v= 4.9-9.8(2)

v=4.9-19.6

v=-14.7m/s

Answer:

14.7

Explanation:

u=-4.9

a=g=9.8

t=2

v=u+at

=-4.9+9.8x2

=-4.9+19.6

v= 14.7m/s
