In short Belgium is a country in Europe which had a diverse population including French German and Dutch but here the majority The Dutch was willing to share power with the other minorities and thus this led to peace and not violence and the splitting of the country
In Sri Lanka the population was divided into the Sinhala and Tamil speaking people but here the majority the Sinhala community was not willing to share lower with the Tamils and thus resulted into war and a lot of bloodshed between the 2 communities
