10. If 3 % of x is 9, then find x.

11. Convert 45 % in decimal form.

12. Convert 0.6 into Percentage.

Solution: 1.  \frac{47}{100} into Percentage =   \frac{47}{100} \times 100

 \frac{47}{100} into Percentage = 47 %

2.  \frac{9}{20} into Percentage =  \frac{9}{20} \times 100

 \frac{9}{20} into Percentage = 9 × 5 = 45 %

3.  6 \frac{1}{4} \% into Fraction =  \frac{25}{4} \times \frac{1}{100}

 6 \frac{1}{4} \% into Fraction =  \frac{1}{16}

4. 120 % into Fraction = 120 ×  \frac{1}{100}

120 % into Fraction =  \frac{12}{10}

120 % into Fraction =  \frac{6}{5}

120 % into Fraction =  1 \frac{1}{5}

5. 43 % as Ratio =  \frac{43}{100}

43 % as Ratio = 43 : 100

6. 7.5 % as Ratio =  \frac{7.5}{100}

7.5 % as Ratio =  \frac{75}{1000}

7.5 % as Ratio =  \frac{3}{40}

7.5 % as Ratio = 3 : 40

16 : 25 into Percentage = 16 × 4 = 64 %

8. Principal (P) = ₹ 4000

Time (T) = 4 years

Rate of Interest p.a. (R) = 5 %

Simple Interest (S.I.) =  \frac{P \times R \times T}{100}

S.I. =  \frac{4000 \times 5 \times 4}{100}

S.I. = ₹ 800

9. 32 % of 425 =  \frac{32}{100} \times 425

32 % of 425 = 8 × 17 = 136

10. 3 % of x = 9

 \frac{3}{100} \times x \: = 9

x = 300

11. 45 % in decimal form =  \frac{45}{100}

45 % in decimal form = 0.45

12. 0.6 into Percentage = 0.6 × 100
