In one square meter there are = 1000mm X 1000 mm squares

=1,000 000 mm squares.

The side length of each square is 1mm.

Now we place all these small squares one behind another. They are lined up along a straight line. So we have a big rectangle. The dimesions will be

width =1mm length=1,000,000* mm=1,000meters

Hope it's helps you!!
