Annabeth Chase is a demigod.Her mother is Athena, the goddess of wisdom and her father is the mortal Frederick Chase. She first appeared in the first novel of the series, The Lightning Thief. In this series she becomes close friend of Percy Jackson, later becomes his girlfriend.

Annabeth Chase is a Greek demigod. She is the daughter of the Goddess Athena and a mortal Frederick Chase. She ran away from her house at the age of 7 and found Thalia Grace and Luke Castellan. She then travelled to Camp half-blood. As said by her mother Athena, her fatal flaw is pride.
She always plans before doing any work. She is very clever. Her ambition is to become an architect. She admires the beauty of monuments whenever she comes across one.
