- AIIMS stands for ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES while NEET stands for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CŪM ENTRANCE TEST .
- In neet you will get 180 (90 bio , 45 each of physics and chemistry) questions while in aiims 200 (60 each of biology, physics and chemistry while 20 of GK and logical thinking) . In aiims assertion reason questions are also included .
- In neet each question holds 4 marks and 1 mark is deducted for wrong answer while in aiims each question hold 1 mark and ⅓ is deducted for each wrong answer.
- The student giving the exam should be of 17 years, Age limit is 25 years.
- Qualifying marks Should be →UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)
- Marks and cutoff depends on the paper and students appearing for exam. It also varies from state to state . There is always a slight change in cutoff each year .
- One disadvantage in AIIMS exam is more negative marking than NEET exam.

QUESTION ==What is the difference between AIIMS and NEET
ANSWER=
AIIMS syllabus is almost similar to
NEET for PCB.
But AIIMS exam has two additional sections – GK (mostly current affairs) and aptitude. Assertion-Reason questions will be asked in
AIIMS entrance. The syllabus of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in JIPMER is same as AIIMS and NEET.
hope it's helpful
