shadowsabers03: Excuse me. Can I use the concept that 'opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary'?
devanayan2005: yes you have to use 'opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary'
shadowsabers03: Okay.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

we must add x+10 and 2x+4 separately and 4y-4 and 5y+5 separately

shadowsabers03: For what???!!!

x = 40°   ;   y = 25°

Sum of all angles is 360°.

(x + 10) + (2x + 4) + (4y - 4) + (5y + 5) = 360°

x + 10 + 2x + 4 + 4y - 4 + 5y + 5 = 360°

3x + 9y + 15 = 360°

3(x + 3y + 5) = 3 × 120°

x + 3y + 5 = 120°

x + 3y = 115°    →    (1)

Quadrilateral ABCD is cyclic. So opposite angles are supplementary.

Consider angles B and C.

(2x + 4) + (4y - 4) = 180°

2x + 4 + 4y - 4 = 180°

2x + 4y = 180

2(x + 2y) = 2 × 90°

x + 2y = 90°    →    (2)

(1) - (2)

(x + 3y) - (x + 2y) = 115° - 90°

x + 3y - x - 2y = 25°

y = 25°

From (2),

x + 2y = 90°

x + 2 × 25° = 90°

x + 50° = 90°

x = 90° - 50°

x = 40°

Plz mark it as the brainliest.

Thank you. :-))
