{ \underbrace{ \underline{ \sf{ Understanding \:  the  \: concept }}}}

Here in this question, Concept of rectangle is used. Given, Area of the rectangle and width of the rectangle i.e x² + 8x + 15 and x + 3 metres. We can see that given data is a expression. Here we can use this formula ➜ Area = L × B.

Here,

Area of rectangle is x² + 8x + 15

Width of rectangle is x + 3

Now, Let's find length of the rectangle by the data given to us.

[ NOTE - We are using the formula - A = l × b ]

To find length of the rectangle we will use this ↑ formula, So let's do it !

 \leadsto   \sf {x}^{2}  + 8x + 15 = x + 3 \times l

\leadsto  \sf l =  \dfrac{ {x}^{2}  + 8x + 15}{x + 3}

\leadsto  \sf l=  \dfrac{x(x+5)+3(x+5)}{x + 3}

\leadsto  \sf l=  \dfrac{(x+5)+(x+3)}{x + 3}

\leadsto  \sf l =  \dfrac{  \cancel{(x+3)}+(x+5)} { \cancel{x + 3}}

\leadsto  \sf \purple{ l =  x+5}

Therefore, length of the rectangle is x + 5
