There is another useage for the same eq...it proves newtons first law
of motion on the basis of the second law.....from second law we can
derive the eq F=ma or F=m(v-u)/t....or F=mv-mu /t....or Ft=mv-mu....now
think about this; newtons first law states that an object continues to
be in its initial state untill it is compelled to change that state by
the application of an external force....or if there is no external force
applied ( F=0 ) there is no change in its initial state ( either rest
or motion) ...from the above eq ; if F=0 ; then we have 0=mv-mu or mv=mu
or simply v=u! Which means that there is no change in its velocity; as
explained by the first law!....cheers friend!
