Hey.

Total amount = Rs 250

Let the no. of Rs 20 note and Rs 10 notes be

3x and 4x respectively.

Total no. of notes = 24

So, 24 - (3x + 4x ) will give the no. of Rs 5 note.

The total amount will be equal to the no. of notes multiplied by it's value.

Hence, 250 = 20×3x + 10×4x + 5×(24 - 7x)

or, 250 = 60x + 40x + 120 - 35x

or, 130 = 65x

so, x = 130/65 = 2

Hence, no. of Rs 20 note = 3×2 = 6

no. of Rs 10 note = 4×2 = 8

no. of Rs 5 note = 24 - 7×2 = 10
