Hey ❤️❤️❤️ Can someone Explain Dispersion of light in detail??
Answers
Answer:
Dispersion of Light
White light is composed of seven colours, (VIBGYOR) Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red.When the white light undergoes refraction (passing from rarer medium to denser medium), as the speed of light changes, the white light splits into seven colours. The process of splitting of white light into seven colours is called dispersion of light.
Heya!
Dispersion of light:
>> The process in which, white coloured light is splitted into different colours (VIBGYOR) is called as Dispersion
>> Dispersion is occured due to the variation in the refractive indexes of mediums
>> Light with more wavelength or lesser frequency is dispersed less
>> Light with less wavelength and more frequency is dispersed more
>> Rainbow is the example of dispersion, which is available in our nature
