Consider if one half of a convex lens is covered with a black paper, then state whether this lens produces a complete image of the object.

the full image will be formed but it will be less bright

Explanation:

it is covered with an opaque object the curvature and focal length remains same.. therefore there will be no effect on image formation but it will be less bright
