HOLA!!!

In actual there are 4 types :-

  1. protoplasts
  2. leucoplasts
  3. chromoplasts
  4. chloroplasts

Protoplasts are widely used for DNA transformation , since the cell wall would otherwise block the passage of DNA into the cell.

Leucoplasts are plastids which Store starch, lipids, or proteins. A leucoplast may also perform biosynthetic functions such as the synthesis of fatty acids, amino acids, and various other compounds.

Chromoplasts synthesize and store pigments such as orange carotene, yellow xanthophylls, and various other red pigments. As such, their color varies depending on what pigment they contain.

Chloroplasts basically help in photosynthesis .
