your answer is :-

The smallest 6 digits number is 100000

it's square root is √100000 = 100√10

√10 = 3.1623 (approx)

So, square root of √100000 = 316.23

but , it is not a integer and it is not a perfect square .

So, we take nearest integer value

Now, nearest integer value is 317

it's square is 100489

therefore , 100489 is the smallest 6 digits number which is a perfect square .
