x÷3 +5y =13;2x+y÷2 =19

Give: x/3+5y=13. -Eq.1

2x+y/2=19. -Eq.2

To remove denominators:

Eq 1 x 3 > X+15Y=39

Eq 2 x 2> 4X+Y=38

Now to solve Eq 1 and Eq 2 simultaneously:

Multiply Eq 1 by 4 > 4X+60Y=156

4X+60Y=156

4X+Y=38

Y=2

Put value of Y in any eq to get value of X.

X+15x2=39

X+30=39

X=9.
