This method is used to determine the distances between the heavenly astronomical bodies.
The way to find it out is, angle=distance between the planets/distance from the centre to the body
Value of theta is always calculated in terms of radian
Or u can say,
The apparent shift in the position of the object.

jhaShivani: please I need process how we do this and also calculation
samikshasingh224: the distance between the heavenly bodies is 'b'
jhaShivani: if u edit your answer and add these two thing it's great help for me.
samikshasingh224: the distance from the centre to the body is radius
jhaShivani: I know how to do but how to write this
samikshasingh224: is this ok now
jhaShivani: hmmm....
samikshasingh224: ok

Parallax measurements work by measuring the relative change in position of stars as the earth goes around the sun. ... absolute magnitude is the apparent brightness of a star if viewed from a distance of 32.6 light years away.
