Ans ==>> literacy rates went up in most parts of Europe in the 17th and 18th centuries.By the end of the 18th century,literacy raye become 60 to 80 percent. With the increasing rate of literacy and development of schools in European countries,there arose a virtual reading mania.As a result,printers started to produce books in large numbers.

1}} Book sellers around for selling almancs,ballads folktales etc.

2}} penny chapbooks were carried by petty pedlars in England for a penny.

3}} in france ' biliotheque blue ' low priced small books were printed.

4}} Newspapers,journals containing information started circulating.

5}} Texts containing ideas of scientists anx philosophers became popular among the masses.

Literacy rate of Europe is going to stop up in
17th and 18th century
school were set up in village to make lateracy rate in Europe. As this school of literacy and spread across Europe gave birth to Virtual Reading Mania.
