Hey everyone
Is there any way to find the area of scalene triangle even if the height is not known to us (note- without using herons formula)

Let ABC is a scalene triangle whose internal angles are A , B and C . If sides are BC = a ,

AC=b and AB= c units.

Area of triangle ABC=1/2.a.b.sinC=1/2.b.c.sinA

=1/2.c.a.sinB.

HOPE IT HELPS. .....

You can find the area of the triangle if you know all the three sides of the triangle.

Let the sides of the triangle be a,b & c

and the semi-perimeter =s (a+b+c)/2

area = ✓[s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)]

This is called heron's formula
