okay! First of all, decide about what is written inside the file.

outer cover must hints about what's inside.

For example: if it's gardening ... than use some green paper, green glitter sheets etc. to make a beautiful tree or make the words leafy.use butterfly, flowers etc.

do you know about speaking words? For example if you are writing the word *water* it's design of writing will also look like water, a drop of water or like bluish

Try to make the page bit introductory.

All things should connecting eachOther

if it's embroidery try to make the first page with a simple embroidery etc.
