Heya !! ❤️❤️

Answer...

In first case the sphere acquires charge due to INDUCTION.

In induction , the body acquires opposite charge and hence gets attracted.

But after touching , the sphere acquires charge due to CONDUCTION.

In conduction , the body acquires same charge due to transfer of particles , hence gets repelled.

Hope helps !! ❤️❤️

LovePCM: Thanks
LovePCM: but when they get touched.... electrons will transfer from sphere to rod??
TPS: yes, electrons will flow from sphere to rod
LovePCM: okk .... thanks

As the glass rod is positively charged then it attracts to glass.

But it repelled after attraction due to glass weight and it's inertia

It help you definitely

LovePCM: Thanks
LovePCM: but this can't be the ans
LovePCM: it is related to charges
INDIANvMA: Oh I answered on inertia and charge
LovePCM: it's ok
