Explanation:

eneral Characteristics of Porifera. These are multicellular organisms which are sessile/sedentary in nature. Most of them are marine while a few are fresh water forms. Body is cylindrical, asymmetrical or has radial symmetry.odern authorities, however, have separated the cnidarians and ctenophores on the basis of the following ctenophore characteristics: (1) the lack of the stinging cells  that are characteristic of cnidarians; (2) the existence of a definite mesoderm in the ctenophores;Eight rows of ciliated combs or ctenes , controlled by an apical sense organ at the aboral pole. Incomplete gut IT HAS mouth but no anus .nidarians are basically radially symmetrical and have tentacles. The body contains a gastrovascular cavity and the body wall is diploblastic. Cnidarians occur as two distinct types: polyps and medusae, which in many taxa constitute alternating generations. All are aquatic and most are marine.
