hey mate!!
here is u r answer!!
___________________________________
difference between xylem and phloem.:-
XYLEM :-
XYLEM TAKE MINERAL FROM THE ROOT.
XYLEM TRANSPORT WATER AND SOLUTES FROM THE ROOT.
________________________________________
SIMILARITY ;-
BOTH HAVE VASCULAR TISSUE AND THERE PRINCIPLE ARE SAME TRANSPORT FOOD AND MINERALS.FROM A VASCULAR BUNDLE.
___________________________________
PHLOEM ;-
PHLOEM TRANSPORT FOOD FROM THE LEAVES.THE REST OF PLANT.
PHLOEM:-
TRANSLOCATES SUGARS MADE BY PHOTOSYNTHESIS AREAS OF PLANT TO STORAGE ORGAN LIKE ROOTS.
________________
________________
about xylem :-
this is usually called wood . this is conducting tissue .it's two main function are.
1 :) conduction of water and minerals and.
2:) to provide mechanical consistency.
the determination of age of the plant is done by counting annual rings of the xylem tissue . the method of determining the age of plants is known as Dendrochronology.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PHLOEM:-
THIS IS A CONDUCTING TISSUE ITS MAIN FUNCTION IS TO CONDUCT FOODS . PREPARED BY THE LEAVES TO DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE PLANT.
1.:) COMPANION CELLS OF PHLOEM ARE FOUND IN ANGIOSPERM .
2:) TRANSPIRATION IN PLANT IS A PROCESS OF WATER LOSS FROM ITS AERIAL PART.
3:) THE CELLS WHICH ARE CLOSELY ASSOCIATED AND INTERACTING WITH GUARD CELLS ARE SUBSIDIARY CELLS.
Hey user, here is your answer.........!!☺⤵⤵
⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵⤵
❗❗________________________________❗❗☺
#,Xylem and Phloem are complex permanent tissue made up of more than one type of cells.They join together and form , Vascular bundles.
Now,
❗XYLEM❗☺⤵⤵
:-) , Xylem made up of four type of cells.⤵⤵
➖, ❗, Xylem fibres = Xylem fibres are sclerenchyma fibres found in xylem. Provide mechanical support. ⤵
➖, ❗, Xylem Tracheid = Xylem trachieds are long , tubular dead cells with lignified walls, wide lumen [ space inside cell ] .
➖, ❗, Xylem vessels = Xylem are very long types which are formed by end to end union of a large number of dead empty cells where transverse walls break down completely. [ Note - Xylem. vessels and trachied are conducting elements of xylem] .
➖, ❗, Xylem parenchyma = It consists of living cells present inside xylem. Cells of parenchyma stores food.
#, Actually real transportation of water take place through, Xylem trachied and Xylem vessels rest provide support and do other activities.❗❗☺
2) Phloem.....⤵⤵
➖, ❗, Phloem fibres = They are the only non-living component of phloem. They provide mechanical support.
➖, ❗, Phloem Sieve Tubes = They are long elongated tubular living conducting channels of phloem .
➖, ❗, phloem parenchyma = It is parenchyma present in phloem . They helps in storage.
➖, ❗, Phloem companion cells = They are thin - walled cells which lie on the sides of sieve tube cells. They maintain a proper pressure gradient in the sieve tube cells for conduction of food.
# Hope will help you.
