August 15 the independence day is a very important day india it is a day about how we got our freedom and how with how much struggle we got it people like Mahatama Gandhi, jawarlal Nehru, subaschandra Bose went through a lot of struggle to make our beautiful country India, a free country before freedom India was ruled by the British and we the Indians were their slaves we were being treated like trash by the British even in this situation many great and brave freedom fighters went through a lot of struggle to the extent of even being killed by the British although some great warriors died but only because of their great sacrifice we are now a free country independence day is celebrated to celebrate our independence and to remember the people who fought for our country and made it free its a very important day because after all the struggle India is finally a free and growing country only because of the great warriors and freedom fighters we are all equally treated and are free.

I take it as an honor to stand in front of all of you and I would like to say few words on Independence Day. We are celebrating our 71st day of freedom. It was today on 15 August when India woke up with freedom in 1947, No one can never forget when Our first prime minister Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the national flag at the red fort in Delhi. Since the time we have been celebrating our freedom with joy, pride, and honor. India has been celebrating Independence Day in every schools and college since 1947. Each year every school, colleges, offices are decorated by independence lover with keeping the theme of Independence Day. Thanks to our principal for hoisting national flag also thanks for speak about our great Indian freedom fighters.

No one can never forget how much we lost and how much blood we shed. We had lost a lot and we can’t forget our forefather hard struggle, painful life, and lost lives for independence day. Our ancestor gives us a precious gift in the form of independence day. Bhagat Singh, Raj Guru, Sukhdev are some of them who lost their lives for the freedom of us.

The Britishers ruled upon us for more than 400 years and that time was the painful period for our ancestors. That time was nobody safe in their home and people were living in a shadow of fears.

Now the remember our ancestor and also remember their hard struggle and painful journey. we look at celebrating today as well every year. we will be celebrating independence day with sing patriotic songs to give respect to our great Indian fighters. I salute all the fighters as well our national heroes who give us beautiful Indian, independent India where we can live without any fear and pain.
Hope all kids will make our India brights like our ancestor had done.
