white hat hackers: these generally compose of the cyber security. They generally hack into computers to protect the ones from the malicious ones(black hat hackers). these are generally for the security of one's PC.
grey hat hackers: these are the hackers between the black hat hackers and white hat hackers. they may sometimes violate the laws but to say they are not as good as white hat hackers.
