Hi friend here is your answer
_______________________________________
➡️Forward Bias
➡️ In p-n junction the P-type is connected to the positive terminal while the N-type is connected to the negative terminal of the battery
➡️At some forward voltage the potential barrier is stopped and the current starts flowing this voltage is the threshold voltage
➡️Threshold voltage is practically similar to the barrier voltage Vb.
_____________________________________
➡️Reverse Bias
➡️P-type is connected to the negative terminal while the N-type is connected to the positive terminal of the battery
➡️When the reverse voltage is increased at a point the junction breaks with the rise in the reverse current
➡️The critical value of the voltage is the break down voltage

◀️◀️ QUESTION ▶️▶️
Draw the characteristics of p-n junction in forward and reverse junction diode.
◀️◀️ ANSWER ▶️▶️
it is an sempliest semiconductor device.
1) forward junction
if we connect the p-type region of a junction with the positive terminal of a voltage source and n-type region with the negative terminal of the voltage source it said to be forward junction.
2) REVERSE JUNCTION DIODE
if we connect positive terminal of a voltage source is connected to the n-type region and the negative terminal of the source is connected to the p-type region then it will the reverse junction
I HOPE THIS INFO HELPS YOU ☺️
