why we write the Cathy's age as y÷2 can u explain pls.
because biju is twice the age of cathy.... therefore cathy will be half the age of him let u consider an example...... let mine age is x and my friend ' s age is twice as mine therefore 2x..... from this u can say that mine age is half the age of my friend ......(2x/2)= x ....i hope this answer may be helpful to you .....for any queries feel free to ask
