Solution:-

  • angle PQS = angle PRS = 40° ( angles on the equal sides of a triangle are equal )
  • angle QPR = 180° - 80° = 100° ( Angle Sum Property of a Triangle )
  • angle QPS = 1/2 angle QPR ( PS is the median and PS bisects angle P )
  • angle QPS = 100° / 2 = 50°

Hence, the value of angle QPS is 50°.
