★ $<b><u>Need of Reforming Education System </u>$

→ Albert Einstein at school is an extract from "The Young Einstein" that's a very famous biography by "Patrick Pringle" . The story deals with the circumstances that lead to Albert 's expulsion from a German school .

→ Well , after reading the lesson : readers are forced to question the present day education system. Talking of the present day education system , saying that it's just about cramming and passing exams won't be wrong ! In the present scenario , Learning or I better say , cramming and being able to reproduce that in exams - secure good marks is all that we see about education .

→ "Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world" - I think we've all heard this famous saying. So , can we change anything just by cramming ? Nah! It's nothing more than killing the basic idea of education . Education isn't just limited to memorizing facts . It's all about knowing the world around us .

→ Relating that to the lesson , Albert had a much wider idea 'bout education whereas for his history teacher Mr. Braun it was just about learning the historical facts and figures. Sir Albert Einstein gives a beautiful picture of true education . Education should focus more on "Why" rather than "When" and "Where" ! It needs a more rational and scientific approach to deal with the numerous phenomena occurring around us every second !

→_Our education system needs to be reformed to a great extent . The very first flaw is that it focuses entirely on theoretical learning and memorizing. Practical learning isn't given much importance here! So , that thing needs to be removed. Children should be given practical know-how of what they're studying - that would make it obviously more effective. Another thing as we also see in the lesson is how school kills the creativity of a child . Albert wanted to learn Science but there was not much lessons given at school. Well , as per me school is a place where creative minds of children need to be explored ! They shouldn't be curbed that way. At last , each child has his own interest and weakness . Like Sir Einstein wasn't so good at History but he performed amazingly well at Mathematics . So , it could be great if students weren't judged on the basis of their marks !
