●The story: 'The Little Girl' is an emotional story written by Katherine Mansfield.

●The story revolves around the life of a little girl named, Kezia.

●Kezia believes that her father is a demon, who never loved her and he seems to be a giant to her, due to some events mentioned in the story.

●On the other hand, Mr. McDonald, tell neighbour of Kezia, is very close to his children and everyday, Kezia sees him playing with his children and providing them the required love and affection.

●Kezia then decides that there are different kinds of father in the world.

●One day, when Grandma and her mother weren't there in the house, and Kezia had gone to bed to sleep, she saw a very frightening nightmare and got very afraid.

●She shouted-'Grandma!', and when she opened her eyes, she saw his father near herself.

●Hee father told her to sleep beside him and not be afraid of anything. That was the first time when she felt the love and affection of his father for herself.
