Hey friends I got a doubt that is ,this questions answer is true but I want to know that what if the (a)s value is greater than (b)s value. this cannot be possible all the time am I right

No...A is an Assumed number....If a case arises that b is greater than a we simply just say a=The greater number....It's not that A always is greater if b is greater its safe to write b<a+b/2<a
