Answer: x^2/52 + y^2/13 =1

Step-by-step explanation:

As major axis is x axis

Therefore...

Equation of ellipse =

[Tex] \times{x{}^{2}}{a{}^{2}} + \frac{y{}^{2}}{b{}^{2}} = 1

Since it passes through (4,3)

16/a^2 + 9/b^2 = 1

1/a^2 = 1/16(1-9/b^2) zzzzz(1)

Since it passes through(6,2)

36/a^2 + 4/b^2 =1

Using zzzzzz(1)

b^2=13

And a^2 = 52

Equation of ellipse = x^2/52 + y^2/13 =1
