I am writting this letter in order to bring the poor condition of road in our locality due to which the people in our locality had subjected inconvenience for past 2 months. This road was repaired only last year. Now much of it is dug up again.The area not dug up is often blocked by trucks and other heavy vehicles. The footpath is virtually out of use by pedestrians as its full of mud and stones from the excavation.

We have tried to bring this problem in the attention of authorities in past too ,but there were no actions taken for improvement. Therefore, I request You to issue this in your famous daily ,so that authorities may take steps to improve these conditions.

Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed daily I would like to draw the attention of the concerned authorities about the bad condition of our local roads. Though most of the roads in our town are in adverse conditions, the roads in our locality are the worst. Accidents have become frequent in our locality due to such bad conditions. During rainy season, they look more like drains than roads. Trouble of the pedestrians cannot be explained. Even school - going children have to face difficulties to go to school.

I, therefore, on the behalf of the people of our locality, request the concerned authorities to kindly undertake necessary steps regarding this matter and repair the damaged roads as soon as possible.
