Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, or SSA, is an Indian Government programme aimed at the universalisation of elementary education "in a time bound manner", as mandated by the 86th Amendment to the Constitution of India making free and compulsory education to children between the ages of 6 to 14 a fundamental right.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER;-

ANSWER 1. ;- Tenth plan endeavour to increase the enrolment in higher education is due to the development of 18 10 23 years group from the 6 to 11% by end of the plan .

Focus on distant education which is formal and non formal and it education institution for the people.

ANSWER 2. ;- Sarva  Shiksha  Abhiyan  [ SSA ]  is  a  significant  step  towards  providing  elementary  education  to  all  children  in  the  age  group  of  6 - 14  years  by  2010.  It  is  a  time  bounded  initiative  of  the  central  government.

The  SSA  realises  the  importance  of  early  childhood  care  and  education.  There  is  also  another  goal  to  bridge  the  gap  between  social,  regional  and  gender  differences,  with  the  active  participation  of  the  community  in  the  management  of  the  schools
