Xylem helps in transportation of water and minerals from root to different parts of plant mainly leaves.
it allows unidirectional flow.
the elements of xylem..........
xylem parenchyma, xylem fibre,tracheids,vessels.....
Phloem helps in translocation of food from leave to different growing parts.
it allows bidirectional flow..
different elements of phloem are.....
phloem parenchyma, phloem fibre, seive tube, companion cell.......
