mass of pipe =π[R^2-r^2]h*4g
=22/7[14^2-12^2]35*4
22[196-144]20
=440[52]
=22880g
=22.88kg

Solutions :-

Given :
The inner diameter of a wooden cylindrical pipe = 24 cm
Radius = r = 24/2 = 12 cm

Outer diameter = 28 cm
Radius = R = 28/2 = 14 cm

Length of pipe = h = 35 cm

Find the volume of pipe :-

Volume = π (R² - r²) × h
= 22/7 (14² - 12²) × 35 cm³
= 22/7 (196 - 144) × 35 cm³
= 22/7 × 52 × 35 cm³
= 5720 cm³

Find the mass of pipe :-

By unitary method,
1 cm³ = 4 g
5720 cm³ = 4 × 5720 = 22880 g

Hence,
Mass of pipe = 22880 g or 22.88 kg
