'The first Indian satellite launched on 19 april, 1975.it was launched from the former soviet union.It provides India the basic of learning satellite technology and designing.
it was developed during 1975-76 .ISRO along with NASA.

ISRO launched 8 satellites in its 15 flight of 'XL' version of the PSLV . 5 foreign satellite and 3 Indian satellite(SCATSAT -1, (PRATHAM,PISAT)....

ISRO launched 104 satellite,of which 3 were Indians.
It is the largest no.of satellite launched in a single flight by any space agency.
