☆Convergent evolution is the process by which unrelated and distantly related organisms evolve SIMILAR BODY FORMS , COLORATION , ORGANS AND ADAPTATIONS .
☆Natural selection results in evolutionary convergence under several different circumstances.
◇EXAMPLES :
☆Flight or wings of insects , birds , pterosaurs and bats .
☆These organisms have same function and structure but gas evolved independently.
