or,3x-y+8=0

6x+my+16=0. .......(equ.2)

when the graph of lines coincide,

then,

a1/a2 = b1/b2 = c1/c2

where a1,a2,b1,b2,c1 and c2 are the coefficients of the given simultaneous equations

so,

3/6 = -1/m = 8/16

thus,m=-2 (answer)
