in a chemical reaction, every molecule is not in same amount, some element is present in less amount which gets consumed fast, and limts the reaction. such element is known as limiting reagent

The limiting reagent in chemical reaction is the substance that is totally consumed when the chemical reaction is complete . the amount of product formed is limited by reagent since the reaction cannot continue without it.

Hope it's help you. Have a wonderful day dear
