Prime factorisation of 18 is 2×3×3
So, it is expressed as 3√2
And, Prime factorisation of 20 is 2×2×5
So,it is expressed as 2√5
But 89 is prime number, it's prime factorisation of 89 is 1 × 89
So, it is expressed as √89
So, it is expressed as 3√2
And, Prime factorisation of 20 is 2×2×5
So,it is expressed as 2√5
But 89 is prime number, it's prime factorisation of 89 is 1 × 89
So, it is expressed as √89

Hi there !
Here the prime factorization of 89 is :-
89 = 89 x 1
As it is doesn't have common factors , √89 is expressed as √89 itself.
---------------------------------------------------------------
But on the other hand ,
Prime factorization of 20 = 2 x 5 x 2
Here 2 is common ( common means , 2 is there as a pair )
Hence , the no: that is common is taken outside the root ,
20 = 2√5
