Hello!!
This is your answer.

Given :
p (x) = 2x^2 - 3x + p
One zero = 3.

Putting x = 3 in the polynomial. ....
2x^2 - 3x + p = 0.
2 × (3)^2 - 3 (3) + p = 0
2 × 9 - 9 + p = 0
p = -9.

The value of p = -9.

So, the equation will be as follows :
2x^2 - 3x - 9 = 0.

Now, by breaking the middle term.....
2x^2 - 3x - 9 = 0.
=> 2x^2 - 3x - 9 = 0
=> 2x^2 -6x + 3x - 9 = 0
=> 2x (x - 3) + 3 (x - 3) = 0
=> (2x + 3) (x - 3) = 0.

Comparing with zero....
2x + 3 = 0
x = -3/2.

Hence, the other root is -3/2.

Hope It Helps
