hey frnds:)

If the image formed by a convex lens is of the same size as that of the object, what is the position of the image with respect to the lens? Draw a ray diagram.

the object is placed at the position of 2f on the principal axis to form an inamge on same size at the 2f position on the right side of the lens..

the image formed will be inverted

THE OBJECT WILL BE AT

2f (LEFT SIDE OF THE LENS) AND THE IMAGE WILL BE FORMED AT 2f (RIGHT SIDE OF THE LENS)

IT WILL BE AT 2f BECAUSE

AT THIS POSITION THE IMAGE FORMED WILL BE SAME SIZE AS THE OBJECT.
